EPP ME EPP ME! I NO KNOW WHERE JAVASCRIPT DEY CARRY ME GO O

Hello everyone, welcome to another fantastic update on my AltSchool journey. So at this point, I need someone to ask me how I am doing, and this time I promise to answer honestly with a resounding No!!!!!

LOL.So we started JavaScript some weeks ago; during the first week, I was excited and impressed at how I could assimilate even and adequately write the javascript codes. I told myself, ‘omo! Na this small thing make me drop out last year?’ lol, again.

Maybe I would be lying if I said I didn’t see this week coming. Did I? Perhaps I got carried away by Rising’s effortless illustrations in week one that I forgot why I stopped coding two years ago. Yes! I used to learn to code and was doing well until I got to this exact spot. Javascript!!!!. It was when I realised I had been typing a lot of “for dummies” that I knew this thing was about to deal me the same blow as it did years ago, only that this time around, I am ready to fight back and fight well.

I’ve had a lot of help from online tutors and good people who have decided to explain these concepts to me by using simple illustrations like the Jack and Jill Story for promises and the ice cream-making illustration for Async/Await.

So yes, just like the title of this article suggests, this is a cry for help from a javascript dummy who needs to come out victorious this time around. I’m rooting for me, and I hope you are too.
